I’m so very, very excited, I treated myself to a frappucino from Starbucks, and two new tops from Extreme, since we are required to wear the brands we sell at Boathouse. This will prove to be difficult in the jeans department for me.

Then I was treated to an early “Christmas” present from my mother to congratulate me.

For those of you who don’t know, I am thoroughly obsessed with a few things in life. To name a few: Megan Fox, anything leopard print, Emma Stone, tattoos, anchors… I could go on, but probably number one of my list is Ms. Marilyn Monroe.

I can’t even tell you what draws me to her. Aside from her stunning beauty, and steller fashion sense.

Her story is so tragic, she had so many mental demons to deal with, I find it fascinating.

So, I now have five portraits in my collection, and an Andy Warhol puzzle (which I put together and framed myself!).

I hope my boyfriend doesn’t mind sharing our future apartment with the silver screen legend.

Getting back to the job! I go on Friday to give my blank cheque and availability, will let you know things as they develop!

Moving Day, Moving Day.

Please forgive my lack of posting the past few days, I’ve been in a serious state of life turmoil. You see, I have been moving. God, I hate moving. I am a stressed, high strung person on the best of days, add something to ACTUALLY be stressed about, and I am a wreck. Our internet isn’t hooked up yet, so please be patient, I’m currently writing this on le boyfriend’s computer. So now I have the task of sorting through the maze of boxes in my living room. How did I even come to own this much stuff? I’m poor!!! I can tell you one thing though, my closet was promptly unpacked and organized (sort of).

Today, I tried out the new OPI White Shatter. Not impressed, I must say. I really dug the whole shatter trend at first but now I think it’s a little played out, with every color under the sun coming out. I like the black and the silver, but the white looks like crusty white out. Not cute. They’re also coming out with an aqua color, which I am a little excited about because I do like China Glaze’s Crackle version.

I must be off now, it’s hard to type when you’ve chugged half a Palm Bay on an empty stomach, have a pounding headache, and are now a little tipsy.

Hopefully come pay day I can start on the saga of my first ever d.i.y. project: painting my dresser!
